Minnie Jolly

Mrs. Minnie Jolly, 97, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the Woodlands Nursing Center where she has resided for the past eight years. She was a native of Gethsemane, Arkansas and resided in Muncie, IN for the past 74 years. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, the War Mothers, the Millie D. Hoffman Club, and a committee woman in Precinct 20 for 20 years. She leaves to cherish her memory two granddaughters, Claretta Jolly, Muncie, IN and Karen Stoner, Muncie, IN; and one cousin, Ocie Rowe, Muncie, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, one son and one grandson. Services will be Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Austin Chambers will officiate. Calling will be 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the church prior to services. Internment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Funeral services entrusted to Faulkner Mortuary.
